Nigeria’s Eagles FC to storm US

 
Nigeria Super Eagles FC arrive the US to  feature in a an invitational tournament in tournament in the US beginning February 12.

Eagles head Coach, Samson Siasia praised the Vice-consul of the US Embassy, Marcus Falion, for ensuring that his players secure visas for the Obama Cup as well as the Guatemala friendly.

“Mr. Falion has been so nice and helpful to us. He did virtually everything to help my players in securing visas and we have been asked to come and take our passports on Wednesday with visas already in them,” said a delighted Siasia.

He added: “The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has been doing all it could to ensure we honour the Guatemala match as well as the US tournament and I am sure we will be there to make Nigeria proud.”

Siasia further said that the invitational tournament will be a platform for the players in the Nigeria Premier League to make a statement on their readiness to be a part of his main team.
“The players are in high spirits, ready to fight and prove themselves in the US. They are aware that this is a very big opportunity for them to make a statement that they too can make my team. They have done well in training which shows that they are really ready to learn,” Siasia disclosed.
