Governor Abbott Appoints Three To State Employee Charitable Campaign Policy Committee

Governor Greg Abbott has appointed Alicia Gray Key and Tabatha C. Vasquez to the State Employee Charitable Campaign Policy Committee for terms set to expire September 1, 2018, and reappointed Greg Davidson for a term set to expire on September 1, 2017. The committee helps develop rules and procedures for the State Employee Charitable Campaign, and reviews the recommended campaign plan.

Alicia Gray Key of Dripping Springs is an attorney and owner of the Law Office of Alicia Key, PLLC. She served for many years as a state employee, retiring from state service in 2013. She is a member of the State Bar of Texas and its Family Law Section and a former president of the National Council of Child Support Directors. She also is a board member for the National Child Support Enforcement Association and is a former mentor with the Seedling Foundation. Key received a Bachelor of Arts in English from Texas Tech University and a Juris Doctor from Texas Tech School of Law.

Tabatha C. Vasquez of Austin is the chief of staff for State Representative John Wray. She is a member of the National Rifle Association, a former executive board member of Delta Zeta Sorority at Mars Hill University, and a member of Austin Stone Church. She received a Bachelor of Arts in sociology with a concentration in criminal justice and a minor in business from Mars Hill University. 

Greg Davidson of Austin is the Executive Clerk to the Governor and director of the Constituent Communication Division for the Office of the Governor. He is a teaching elder in the Presbyterian Church in America and currently serves as the stated clerk for the South Texas Presbytery. He is a former assistant pastor at CrossPointe Church, past member of the National Association of Parliamentarians, former board member of the National Day of Prayer Organization and Prison Fellowship Ministries. He is also a past volunteer with Austin Junior Achievement and CASA of Austin. Davidson received a Bachelor of Business Administration in marketing and a Master of Arts in government from The University of Texas at Austin, and a Master of Divinity from the Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary.
